What Are Your Terms of Sale?

All of our orders are shipped prepaid in US dollars by credit card, debit card, check or money order.  Please note that due to occasional changes in manufacturing, packaging of the actual product that you receive may appear different than the picture in our product offering.  Warranties on any equipment is handled directly with the manufacturer.

How Do You Handle Pricing and Availability?

We will make every effort to maintain our current prices and make all of our products as available as possible.  However, due to the fact that circumstances can occur that are beyond our control, all product and shipping prices and availability are subject to change without notice.  You can always call us at 515.327.8600 or toll free at 877.327.8606 to confirm pricing and availability.

What is Your Shipping Policy?

We will surface ship within the continental United States.  Shipments to Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico and USA Possessions will normally ship by air, however, some products are by law not allowed to be shipped by air.  For example, aerosol containers labeled as flammable or some of our other products cannot be shipped by air service and must travel by land.  Shipping by freight truck, air, next day or 2nd day air is available for an extra charge that is in addition to our standard shipping rate fee schedule.  Please feel free to call us for any special shipping request.

We have found that what seems to be the most fair shipping pricing system is to charge a small fee based upon the amount purchased.  We make every effort to keep our shipping pricing as low as possible.  Following is our current shipping rate schedule:

We work hard for you to ship in-stock orders within 24 hours (excluding weekends and holidays) of receiving your order.  In fact, in most cases, if we receive your order by 1:00pm CST, we will ship the same day.  In general, please allow 3 to 5 business days delivery time for most of our domestic shipments.  If we have your email address we will notify you when your order ships along with the method of shipment, a tracking number and the expected date of delivery. 

Whenever possible, we reuse packing materials that have been shipped to us by our suppliers.  We do this to help to keep your costs down and to do our part to help preserve our precious environment by contributing as little additional waste as possible.

What if My Product is Out of Stock or on Backorder?

While we watch our inventory very closely, occasionally we will be caught off guard and run out of an item.  If this happens, we will ship your order after we have received all of your backordered items.  If we believe that it will take more than 7 days to receive your backordered item(s), we will ship you what we do have and follow-up by shipping the rest of your order when it arrives at no additional shipping cost to you.  We feel that it is not your fault that we are out of an item and that you should not be penalized for an extra shipping charge when it does arrive.

What if My Product Arrives Damaged?

Even though we do take extra care to pack all shipments, since life can be unpredictable, we know that on rare occasion your shipment can arrive damaged.  If this happens, whenever possible, as soon as your product arrives, inspect the contents.  Should there be any damage, please report the damage to the shipping company and to us.  We will do everything that we can to get the damage rectified as soon as possible.  Be sure to keep the item in the original packaging.

What is Your Liability?

Since we cannot control the user's handling, use or effect of use, we make no warranty, express or implied, nor do we accept any responsibility for any direct or consequential damages, or for damages that are in the nature of penalties beyond the original purchase price of any of our products.

How do You Handle Returns?

First and foremost, we want you to be satisfied and we will do everything that we can to accommodate your requests.  So to that end, we want to be certain that you have enough time to be sure that you are satisifed with the item, therefore you are given up to 90 days to return your purchase.  We laugh when we see limits for returning an item within 30 days of purchase.  Sometimes I don't even get around to using a product to well after the 30 days has expired.  If you do need to return an item(s), please contact us as we do need to authorize all returns.  After you receive authorization, please repack the item(s) with care and return it to us with insurance and freight prepaid.  If the item(s) has been special ordered, we will have to review each request on a case by case basis but please understand that we may not be able to take special orders back.
